She is a Certified Financial Planner, Enrolled Agent (enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service on tax matters), and is an Accredited Tax Advisor. She has been admitted to the Registry of CFP Licensed Practitioners and is a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. Pat is a member of the Financial Planners Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the National Association of Tax Practitioners and the National Association of Enrolled Agents. She serves on a number of community boards.

Rick is a CFP with a Chartered Mutual Fund designation. He serves on the Investment Policy Committee and helps make policy decisions including holistic financial planning, client-centered portfolio allocation, and wealth preservation. He has over 25 years experience in the field of investments and finance. For over 18 years, Rick provided financial advice at Charles Schwab, Inc. In addition, he has four years experience in the legal field including both general law and trust and estate areas as a legal assistant.
He received his BS degree from Northern Arizona University with a Legal Assistant Certification. Rick was prior president of the local Financial Planning Association—from 2005 to 2007. He is actively involved with the local Boys and Girls Club and has taught the “Money Matters” program to our youth at various Clubs across the city. Rick is also a member of the Southern Arizona Estate Planning Council.

He received his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning in 1988, and his Enrolled Agent designation in 1989. Phil is experienced in the financial services industry as a planner and tax professional having owned his own tax and financial planning practice in Tucson for 17 years. Phil is a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute. He has served as a tax manager in a large corporation, overseeing remote tax professionals’ performance and training. Phil is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and has served on the Board of Directors of that organization for six years. He is a past President of the Arizona Society of Enrolled Agents and currently serves on the board of directors of the Southern Arizona Chapter of Enrolled Agents. Phil volunteers with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Phillip joined the Raskob Kambourian team after serving in the United States Air Force. He holds a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) degree, finance concentration, from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in Management/Accounting from Park University. He is working towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation while providing analytical services to RKFA. In his spare time, Phil enjoys reading, exercising, dancing (Ballroom/Salsa), and volunteering with the Special Olympics. Phil is also an active member of Toastmasters International.

With an Associated Degree from Mesa Community College, Tina served as staff assistant to the Director of the Adult Care Division of a medical office. Prior to that, she provided administrative support in the Department of Physics at The University of Arizona. Recently, Tina acted as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Armory Park/Sentinel Plaza Project and sat on the committee for “Friends of Armory Park”. This effort involved the assignment of volunteers for moving elderly residents to Sentinel Plaza as well as feeding arrangements. Tina is a Mom, an enthusiastic volunteer, and an animal lover.

Patricia W. Kambourian, MBA, EA, CFP, earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and her Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Financial Planner and an Enrolled Agent (enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service on tax matters). Pat is a member of the Financial Planners Association, and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. She is the recipient of the United States of America Medal for Civilian Service in Vietnam for her work with the American Red Cross. As the past President of the Advisory Board, Pat currently serves as the Chair of the Capital Committee of the Salvation Army.

She is President of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Arizona and is a volunteer with Arizona Public Media.

Todd received his BS and MBA degrees from the University of Arizona and spent 41 years working for three major banks as a Trust and Estate administration officer. He has completed the requirements to earn the Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. Todd is a long-time member of The Rotary Club of Tucson and currently serves on two foundation boards.

Fran Needham, EA received her EA in 1993 in Colorado where she owned a tax and accounting practice for 15 years. She and her husband owned various retail stores in Colorado. In 2003, Fran moved to Arizona and worked for several tax and accounting firms until opening her own practice in Sun City, AZ. She is a CSA (Certified Senior Advisor). Fran offers experience in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing and restaurants, plus she has served individuals with varied interests. Fran is a long-standing member of NSDAR and the National Association of Enrolled Agents and currently serves in the Southern Arizona Chapter of Enrolled Agents. In addition, Fran is an avid quilter and volunteers with the Tucson Quilters Guild.

Karen joined RKFA after 12 years as Student Services Coordinator and Academic Advisor at the University of Arizona. She graduated with honors from the U of A receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She later earned a Masters in Education with a major in counseling and human relations from Northern Arizona University. She has completed the basic tax curriculum, has completed the requirements to earn the Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) designation, and is studying for her “Certified Financial Planner” designation. Karen is also active with her son’s after-school activities.

April has worked in a variety of general office positions as well as customer service. She has experience in finance, accounting, tax and the telecommunications fields. Having completed a tax course, April is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree in Business with a focus on accounting.
