We won the 2011 Better Business Bureau “Good Neighbor” TORCH AWARD for Community Service
May 12, 2011 was a very special day for Raskob Kambourian Financial Advisors, Ltd.!
From a stellar list of over 70 companies competing for the BBB Torch Awards, RK was selected for the “Good Neighbor” Award!
This award recognizes companies that have shown a commitment to making Southern Arizona a better place by playing a significant role in support of local charities.
RK was selected for its Community Service in the form of:
a. Donations/contributions to local charities and non-profits
b. Time spent as officers, board members, and program organizers
c. Participation by RK management and staff in charitable events (including stuffing turkeys!)
d. Sponsorships
e. Our recommendations to our clients to contribute to local charities
As we compiled our list of involvement for our staff of nine, we discovered that RK has supported 32 charitable organizations over our 25 year history. Some of these organizations were actually founded by the Pats. The cash donations are quite significant, and the participation totaled over 100 years of combined staff time.
